Lease note, these are reputable agencies that have the resources and legal framework to ensure that the money you donate will reach the people of the Ukraine who need it.There are logistical and legal issues which mean that it is not as simple as people think to ‘collect for the Ukraine’. For example have you got a licensed truck and driver willing to drive into a war zone, and has that driver the necessary diplomatic clearances to get through the various check points. I have seen this before we’re good intentioned people have set up collections but then been unable to get them transported to the right people or worse have had the lorries hijacked by gangsters. Please use only properly organised drop points where a recognised charity has the logistics and legal resources to ensure your aid gets to where it is meant to go.
