We are legally allowed to continue with public Worship under the current regulations.
The bishops are correct that people should be free to worship but there is a duty upon us all to ensure that we do so safely.
One of the requirements for public worship is that we have adequate stewarding. Currently, because of age and self isolation, the number of stewards is inadequate for us to continue with 3 Masses at the weekend.
My intention is that the 10:15 Mass will remain open to the Public, and will go ahead this Sunday, 10th January.
If we are to continue with Public Worship I need more Volunteers to act as Stewards.
Please could anyone aged between 18 and 69, inclusive, who is not in a high risk category contact me via e-mail: email@example.com
If you are willing to act as a steward at the 10:15 Mass.
The Saturday Evening and 08:30 Masses are Suspended until further notice.
Weekday masses will be live streamed. There will also be live broadcast of the Blessed Sacrament, silent, from 12 noon until 22:00 each day commencing on Friday 8th January.
Funerals will continue with limited numbers, 30 Max.
Over the next few days I shall publish times and details of other live streamed and recorded acts of worship.
Stay safe and comply with the COVID -19 lockdown restrictions.
May God bless us and may this pestilence soon pass.
